Shloshim Tribute to Cantor Moshe Schulhof‏


Several Hundred people gathered Tuesday night July 23, 2013, At Synagogue Beis Yisroel in Borough Park section of Brooklyn, NY to pay tribute at a moving Shloshim service for Cantor Moshe Schulhof, one of the greatest cantors of this generation.

Some of the world's leading Chazzanim paid tribute through song, accompanied by Izchak Haimov and the Hampton Synagogue Choir. The evening began with words of inspiration and Hesped from Alan J. Gerber, a close friend to the late Chazzan.

The Chazzanim then each presented a musical piece. Those who participated in this event included Zevi Muller, Benzion Miller, Pini Ben Ari, Netanel Hershtik, Benny Rogosnitzky, Yaakov Rosenfeld, Ushi Blumberg, Sid Dworkin, Asher Scharf, Robert Vegh, and Shimmy Miller. They were accompanied on piano by Daniel Gildar.

The evening culminated with a stirring rendition of "Kel Moley Rachamim" by Chazzan Benzion Miller, who was a close friend of the late Chazzan.
